Today, we toured the troll peninsula, with a historic museum of grass houses in Glaumbær, crossed the wide river and moved north on the other side of the fjord to tiny Hofsós for another swim in a surprisingly big and modern swimming pool / hot tub with infinity pool across the fjord. We concluded the day in Siglufjörður with its swiss-made avalanche protection, also famous for fjord-skiing in winter and for the recently rejuvenated harbor incl. the grand Siglo hotel.
