Punalu’u Black Sand Beach and Pahala Cave: Turtles

Jay Robinson, my friend and US NPS Ranger at Hawai’i Volcanoes, took us to a hidden cave, called turtle or Pahala cave with some fascinating Petroglyphs or rock carvings (especially when you know or know how to interpret their meanings), and then to some more turtles at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach. What a blast Labor Day Weekend!
