What a fantastic start of a quick trip beyond the Polar Circle. We started off in Stockholm after a late flight the night before, landed an hour later in Luleå on the Norrbotten, took our rental Volvo and drove five hours north past the Polar Circle and reached Abisko just in time to meet an intense solar activity producing just a fantastic set of Northern Lights. Staying out long in the cold was a challenge, but it was so worth the while!
