Linn is famous for its oldest and cherished linden tree, located in the Jura chain mountains and small limestone valleys near Basel, Switzerland. It is early spring but first green has appeared.

An annual ritual, almost, the ski trip to Davos. This time to Parsenn, and really beautifull, all the way up to Weissfluhjoch peak.
Although it was well below freezing, the hikes through the sandstone canyons of Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks in central Illinois were well worth the effort. Frozen waterfalls, ice sculptures and eddies in the icy creek were a fantastical spectacle you can only see when the conditions are right.
