Can a trip to Australia be quick? Layovers, two long haul flights, are you serious? Nevertheless, it felt and probably was a quick business trip, but a weekend day at least to get roadtrippin’ in upper Victoria in the temperate rainforest. Can you imagine, that this place had completely burnt down in the Black Saturday fires of 2009? Neither could I but then read up on it. But it is such a wonderful place, and the Yarra National Park in particular.

Near Allmend at Frauenfeld, the Thur river runs straight across the upper Thur valley in Thurgau. During cold mornings with high m moisture, fog builds that then tends to be burnt up by the sun pretty quickly during springtime.
