Nothing beats a left-wing window seat on an alpine flight from Zurich to Italy, following the Gotthard railway route from Schwyz to Altdorf across Gotthard pass / tunnel and then into Valle Leventina with Bellinzona.

Not much to move about with an injured arm, so I enjoyed the beach view.
Actually, despite the hotel chains, I must say I like Cancun pretty much. The azure water is world class, the waves are nice to jump about in, and the possibilities for watersports, including diving and snorkeling, which of course I could not do, would have been fanstastic.

Epic Bike Trail: Rinerhorn – Zügenschlucht

Despite a small accident that made the trip not turn out quite as planned, we had a nice day following the Alps Epic Trail, selected by the International Mountain Bike Association as one of the best, most scenic trails, from Davos Monstein through Zügenschlucht gorge to Filisur.
