Sometimes TV shows do get me, and this is in fact an old friend: Jeopardy – the US original. Here it is the annual “tournament of champions” finals, first round, and the guy on the left had pretty much the same amount of money like the others. Then he hits the first “Daily Double” and wagers all his 9000, knows the question to the answer and – hits just the second Daily Double in his next choice of the board. “I’ll bet everything I have again”, he goes, and is right again and at this point already a runaway… Aw, if only they had this show in Europe still!
