Iceland 2019-2
Also returned to the famous Kirkjufell mountain on Snæfellsnes peninsula and Hraunfossar lava waterfalls. Wonderful scenery again, and this time in a more wintery situation. Loved it despite the cold.

Snow hike Grenchenberg

North Carolina 2019-4
North Carolina 2019-3
Now I understand the North Carolina number plate “First in Flight”. Missed that history lesson apparently. And enjoyed a great day including a fantastic evening.
North Carolina 2019-2
Trip to the magnificent yet perilously located Outer Banks with Cape Hatteras National Seashore and its famous lighthouses.
North Carolina 2019-1
A sunny winter trip to Raleigh/Durham and a bit of local Tobacco history on a wonderful plot of land.
Japan Day 4 – Harbor Sunrise
Japan Day 3 – an evening at Asakusa
The Asakusa shrine (Asakusa-jinja) is a famous Shinto shrine located in the Asakusa district of Tokyo and always well worth a visit despite the crowds.
