Three country bike trail
Starting in Nauders, Austria, via Reschen lake and Haider Alm, Italy, I biked all the way down to the Inn river in Engadine, Switzerland.
Weissenstein, Dolomiti
Although we have a Weissenstein (White rock) nearby our home in Solothurn canton, Switzerland, there is a Weissenstein equivalent in the Dolomite Mountains in Italy, including the White Peak (Weisshorn, Corno Bianco).

Deutschnofen revisited
Second visit to Hotel Pfösl to relax and unwind – and of course enjoy the Dolomite mountains. This time, there were the three of us, of course, including Farkas.

Splashing in the Aare canal
I don’t care if my owner thinks it is too cold and muddy outside. Since I’ve discovered I really like water I jump in at any occasion. And I am still not a clean swimmer and splash around quite a bit. And the rubbing down afterwards, with a nice Vizsla Club towel with my name on it isn’t that bad, after all.
Slovakia excursion
I had the opportunity for another quick weekend-trip and chose one more “B-city” in Europe to explore. From Kosice in Slovakia I went on a road trip to the wine region bordering Hungary, looking at Tokaj and rolling hills and small rivers.
Seebergsee hiking
The days are still long and quite hot so we profited from the elevation at Seeberg Lake at the end of Diemtig Valley in the Bernese Oberland alps. And of course we found time for an outdoor lunch and splashing around in a cold creek.
Late summer above Lake Constance

Weekend trip to Tallinn, Estonia – 3
Including a visit to Pirita rand, the beach, harbor and part of the Olympic stadiums from 1980.
